It's simple: you submit the details about your car, and we instantly share those details (not your personal information) with dealers in your area that WANT to buy cars like yours for their inventory.
When you trade your car in, you're just getting one dealers opinion about its worth. RollSale is better because we help you anonymously connect to many dealers at once to find out which one locally has the HIGHEST opinion of its worth, and will write you a check for it.
We recommend giving your car at least a week to allow dealers to make offers on your vehicle, however you may find that you've got an offer you're happy with in just a few minutes. Its up to you to accept it or wait for a better one.
Once you submit your vehicle, it gets anonymously broadcast to the dealers local to you that are on the RollSale network and want to see cars like yours; many of whom use our dealer-specific mobile applications to get push notifications when vehicles they want are submitted. They can then make offers, which you will receive and be able to accept the one you want.
No. You will have the option to accept or decline each offer that you receive.
We will notify the dealer that their offer has been accepted, and they will contact you to set up a time to drop off the car and pick up your check.
When you bring your car to the dealer, the dealer will first verify that the vehicle's description and condition as you submitted them are accurate. In the case of significant errors or omissions, the dealer may exercise the right to adjust the value per discovered item. This process has been designed to be fair to both the dealer and you, the seller. If you don't like the adjusted value, you can walk away from the deal.
No problem. Once you accept an offer, call your lender or lease company and get a "10-day payoff" for your car. Record the exact amount, and the date through which it is valid. Provide this information, and the lender/lessor name along with the account and phone number, to the dealer when they contact you to arrange the drop-off. The value you are receiving from the dealer will be adjusted down based on the loan or lease payoff. If subtracting the payoff results in a negative number, you will need to bring payment equal to the negative amount in order to complete the payoff. Ask the dealer in advance what forms of payment are acceptable.
Your vehicle identification number (VIN) is 17 digits located on the driver's side door jamb and/or in the bottom of the exterior windshield on the drivers side (behind the glass).
